Slabs is S Labs.It's a development, training and research effort in 8 key areas. The S stands for Software, Science Sports, Sums, Say ,Soul, Shots & Strings.
It delves into recent developments in each of these areas. If need be, researches that area. If need be, it trains itself. It does not bind to patterns but flows into natural process of discovering, exploring, learning and growing. Its an experience.
In Software we hear about latest technologies but we never get a chance to try out stuff.
In Science there are so many broad areas. I specifically like Space Science, Quantum Physics, Genetic Biology. But you know this subject is vast. But it is indeed interesting.
In Sums, we want to cover interesting areas of Maths. For example Infinity is such a challenging subject. How does Infinite = Finite of all things. What is the equation. Of course there can be variety of topics
Say corresponds to learning to communicate the language of the local. One should never restrict themselves from learning a language. Its such a powerful communication tool to reach out and collaborate. If there is a need to go to a place but you do not know the language, I say, better learn the language. Don't wait for the right time. Learning is whenever as well as now.
Soul reflects into elements of soul, spirit, telepathy and many such areas
Shots reflects on photography, art and stuff
Strings relate to Guitar, music in general.
Now when you learn all these areas, you will feel like you learnt something.
Well this is just a start. I have this idea of a vibrating school encompassing all these in an interesting way without feeling as if we are learning, but we are.
So where will I go from here. Lets see.

Since this is an individual effort of mine for now, I am planning to take up one project at a time.
Slabs is not a hierarchical model where I know everything and students never contribute. Its a flat model where we all discover, explore, learn and grow together. It focusses on building leaders who can lead. It focusses on being independent. It focuses on self empowerment. It depends on you to help yourself.
It is free of cost but eventually I may have to depend on donations I guess. I hope I don't. My plan is to optimize the learning methodologies, create opportunities wherever there is block and keep moving forward.
